The Emmaus Road is now the Emmaus Road Biblical Studies Virtual Academy and it is the Biblical instruction project of the Encouragement is Key Network. It is the founder’s heart’s desire to provide solid Biblical instruction for the edification of the body of Christ just as readily and plentifully as he has provided general inspiration, motivation & encouragement. This section’s coming into existence has been a dream of the founder for years. Recently, time and circumstances presented an opportunity that had to be seized finally giving birth to Emmaus Road as an official project of the Encouragement Is Key Network. Emmaus Road is drawn from the biblical account of Jesus’ interaction with two believers on the road to Emmaus in the days following his death and burial as told in the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35. In this account, Jesus’ method for encouraging the believers is a powerful prescription for expository preaching and teaching as indicated in verse 27 which reads And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. That method is the method James has used for years in public ministry and serves as the basis for this platform-one through which James hopes to afford certificates of completion for the study of various aspects of the history & systems of the Bible to support individuals as well as whole ministries with the training they so desperately need.
The Emmaus Road Biblical Studies Virtual Academy offers three distinct learning tracks. Track A affords consistent learning opportunities from month to month that are open to all learners. Subjects include both Old & New Testament subjects.. Courses may include verse by verse studies of books, chapters or topics.
Track B offers topical study and may included but not be limited to hermaneutics, soteriology, or eschatology. Track B courses could be offered on a weekly or monthly basis. Track C is devoted entirely for the support of a particular church, ministry or group of learners which may or may not be open to the general public.
All course work is offered either live or as prerecorded modules which will be scheduled on our affiliated YouTube channel Encouragement by design. The course program guide is being developed and will be posted on this page in the immediate future. Once posted an announcement will be sent out via text messages, emails, and on social media to signal the official start of the first registration period. The ERBSVA serves all believing learners regardless of denomination, race, sexual orientation, or identification. All ERBSVA learning takes place in virtual environments that are full of Christlike love, professionalism, and in spaces free of prejudice, condemnation and judgement.
The ERBSVA is a truly unique platform in that in addition to the learning tracks that it offers both publicly and privately, it also offers a powerful collaborative service. The ERBSVA seeks and welcomes opportunities to work collaboratively with ministry leaders to develop training and teaching tools: manuals, new members material, doctrinal information, retreat and special event material, etc. On these instances the ERBSVA can serve as a ghost writer producing materials as per the direction and specifications given by our client. Unlike the the learning track course offerings, the collaborative services are fee based.

Last night(5.9.2022), compelled by yet another spiritual prompting, James took a decisive step forward toward establishing Emmaus Road as a biblical studies hub. Last night James recorded the first video in a series, educating Believer’s and student’s on the importance of using bible study tools as an aid to fulfilling the Apostle Paul’s admonition to Timothy in 2 Tim. 2:15. The video is a powerful segment and a must see to all who visit this tab.
